Tow Mater Epoxy Night Light – Field Scene

This Tow Mater night light brings one of the most iconic scenes from Pixar’s Cars right into your home—Mater out in the field, crunching through crops, ready for some mischief.

The centerpiece of this light is a deep-pore epoxy casting created right in our workshop. Mater is set into a miniature field scene with sculpted “crunched” crop textures surrounding him, giving the look of him sneaking through the field just like in the cow-tipping scene. Once cast, the entire resin piece is hand-turned and polished on the lathe, giving it incredible clarity and depth that makes the little scene inside come alive.

The base is custom designed and 3D printed to complete the look, while the top is made from smooth maple that houses the LED module. When the light comes on, it glows through the resin beautifully, illuminating Mater and the textured field beneath him.

Whether it’s for a Cars-themed bedroom, a collector’s shelf, or a heartfelt handmade gift, this night light blends woodworking, resin art, and 3D design into a one-of-a-kind piece full of character and story.
